In 2016, Street League collaborated with fitness entrepreneur, Terroll Lewis, on a social media campaign to help unemployed 16-24 year olds into work. In May 2014, Lewis told the BBC and the Independent how serving time in prison helped him turn his life around. He founded Block Workout, which reaches out to troubled young people through health and fitness, and he was keen to use his transformational story to inspire other youngsters to make a positive change in their lives.

We are saddened and disappointed to hear of Lewis’ conviction (August 2017) for assault. His recent actions go against the values of our charity and we have immediately ceased all relationship and affiliation with Terroll Lewis as an ambassador.

As a charity supporting young people facing significant barriers and challenges, we encourage second chances and hope Terroll manages to get back on track in the near future.
