21% GROWTH IN SOCIAL IMPACT

We have achieved a 21% growth in our social impact this year (1553/1281) with only a 7% increase in expenditure (£5.65/£5.28m).

SCOTLAND'S SUSTAINED SUCCESS

For the second year running, our teams in Scotland have supported over 1,000 young people into employment, education, and training.

#MADEOUTSIDETHECLASSROOM

Alongside our new branding, we launched a new campaign called #MadeOutsideTheClassroom which helped us to engage with unemployed young people online and on social media and resulted in >2,000 online signups to our programmes.

NEW SPORT - FITNESS LAUNCH

We have successfully piloted a new fitness employability programme to broaden the diversity of the young people we work with. Thanks to funding from the People's Postcode Lottery and Mercedes Benz via Laureus Sport for Good.

LAUNCH IN DUNDEE

We launched our football and fitness programmes in Dundee, the city with the highest youth unemployment rate in Scotland.

#CALLFORCLARITY

Our campaign to encourage more industry discussion around transparency gained support from 147 other organizations, reached 1.8milion people and was featured in the Guardian.

Brunel University conducted a 24-month study into Street League’s programmes to evaluate how well we were delivering against our social mission.

AWARDS & QUALITY

Last year, Street League won the ”Prove It” Social Impact Award from Social Enterprise UK and the SURF award for Removing Barriers.

We were also finalists for the Scottish Social Enterprise of the Year and gained Matrix Accreditation for the quality of our employability programmes ( the second year running).
